Great leaders do more than inspiring followers, they do what they say and set the example. While they do delegate tasks to their team from time to time but they also hold the shovel and dig the trenches themselves when the situation calls for it.
A leader’s right to delegate tasks to others should not prevent him from working around the clock to make things better. A leader shouldn’t be all talk. He should be willing to himself out there for his followers. They need to know that you have their backs.
Taking your time to work alongside your ground team helps you get a better look at things from their lenses. This drill ultimately motivates your team alot.
